COLLABORATIVE 3-D SCULPTURE

This is an ADVANCED art project. Participants must be high school level or above.

It involves carving a three-dimensional sculpture from a single block of oolitic limestone with both hand and power tools. Students will be exposed to the complete process --- Collaborating on design, Mockup, Layout and Execution. (Heavy emphasis is placed on safety.)

The facility must provide a suitable environment that allows for such things as dust control, electrical availability, storage space and protection from the elements.
A release form from each participant is required.
